Height Forecast brings two tools together: a rough adult-height estimator and a dated height log. Each answers a different question.
The estimate
The calculator uses the biological parents’ measured adult heights. It adds 12.7 cm for the boy calculation or subtracts 12.7 cm for the girl calculation, then divides the total by two. In inches, that adjustment is five inches before division.
The displayed reference range is approximately ±10.16 cm (±4 inches). It is a rough family estimate, not an individual confidence interval, diagnosis, or growth projection. This method does not use the child’s age or current height. Read the complete formula guide to check the arithmetic.
The growth record
Add the date and height you measured. The chart displays those records; connecting lines do not add observations between them or forecast future height. You can edit mistakes, delete entries, and export or import a JSON backup. The tracker does not calculate growth percentiles or evaluate whether growth is healthy.
Your storage choice
Predictions run on our server, which saves their inputs and results. Guests can make two predictions in the same browser; Google sign-in allows further predictions. The growth journal is separate: saving between visits requires your choice to save locally. Saved growth records remain in the same browser profile on the same device and site address, even when you sign in. Export a backup to move records yourself, and read Privacy for details.
